E-Waste Removal and Disposal
|
With improvements in technology and reduction in consumer pricing, electronics and other related components have become a major part of every day life in the United States. The state of Florida has implemented a program to regulate the proper disposal, recycling or remanufacturing of these components. The state regulations cover many items
used at the office, homes and schools, including; light bulbs, batteries, ballast, computer monitors, printers, and computer CPU’s.
It is estimated that electronic and universal waste items account for as much as 40% of the mercury (from fluorescent light bulbs), lead (from computer circuit boards), and other related contaminates in municipal and commercial landfills. The vast majority of these contaminates found in our landfills can be recycled.
Allsafe Medical, Inc. is registered in the state of Florida as an approved disposal source for e-waste and universal waste items. Contact us today for a free consultation! |
