The pickup and disposal of hazardous waste is performed a certified and licensed carrier which has met all federal and state training, insurance and personnel requirements.  Hazardous waste cannot be transported from a generator site by a carrier or broker that is only registered for the transportation of biomedical waste.  There are many specific and unique requirements that must be met for the safe and legal transportation of hazardous waste.  The DOT fines for the improper transportation of hazardous waste can be very large.

Pickup schedules are customized to the hazardous waste stream, quantity and characteristics of each client.  An Allsafe Medical, Inc. representative will meet with you to discuss your hazardous waste program in detail and a waste profile will be generated for each different waste stream.  The waste profile is a crucial first step in the proper classification and disposal method of each waste stream.

Disposal of the hazardous waste will vary according to the waste stream characteristics, with the final disposal method chosen being one which meets all regulations as outlined in the waste profile characteristics.
